Adult Education ProgramsThe Good Shepherd offers a variety of education opportunities for adults, including an adult forum on Sundays, reading and study groups, times for meditation, tai chi, Spanish classes and so much more. We encourage you to check them out.
Bible Studio
A weekday morning class that discusses the lectionary for the following Sunday in a creative format. This method involves the creativity of the individual group member, the use of art, music, poetry and conntemporary readings, as well as an in-depth approach to a biblical passage. It asks three questions to which we give profound consideration. What is happening in this passage? How is this passage happening in our world today? How is this passage happening in my life? We meet in the back classroom (in the new building) on Wednesday mornings, beginning January 3, 2012 from 9-10:15 AM.
Education for Ministry
A new program at The Good Shepherd. Education for Ministry is a seminar for lay people who desire to dig deeper into the Christian faith, study the Bible, Church history and theological ideas and reflect on connecting faith with life experiences. Contact Julie Ingham for further information.
